Winter clothing donation at Republic London

Having a clear-out? Now you can recycle your winter clothing right here on campus!

In partnership with Enactus York St John University (YSJ), WinterKind collects high-quality winter clothing and redistributes it to students and individuals who need it most. The initiative also promotes sustainable fashion and encourages more mindful consumption.

You can now get involved by donating directly on campus. Two WinterKind donation bins are located in The Common Room at Republic in East India Dock, making it easy for students, staff, and visitors to contribute.

We welcome clean, good-quality items such as coats, jackets, jumpers, scarves, and other cold-weather essentials. Each donation helps support people facing cost-of-living challenges across London while extending the life of clothing.

Taking part is a simple but impactful way to support both people and the planet. By donating, you are helping reduce textile waste, promote sustainability, and contribute to a more inclusive community.
