Are you interested in social justice and equality? Are you looking for inspiration and people who made it? Do you have little ones around who you want to encourage and dream big?
Join journalist and podcaster Chantal Miller for an inspiring conversation with Destynee Onwochei. A Finance Project Manager, traveller, and inspired children’s author!
Importantly Destynee was inspired by the first black woman to visit every country in the world, Jessica Nabongo. Therefore became interested in solo travel and lived life-changing experiences around the world.
Now 36 and having left her comfort zone to take risks, overcome physical and mental challenges. Destynee is now ready to share her insights on life and the self-discovery she gained whilst traveling, in her first book ‘Tobias Dream Adventurer’.
Destynee’s nephew Tobias is the inspiration behind this book, with his big love for life and inquisitive and curious character. Designed ‘To inspire black boys and girls 4-8 yrs old, to travel, learn about new cultures, disperse prejudices, find themselves, and believe that anything is possible’.
The little protagonist ventures up the amazing World Wonder Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Tobias with his friend Nalah, help to revive her father’s passion of being a mountain guide.
