We had a chat with Theo, the Director and Co-Founder of Gelato a Casa to find out how the team are getting on since opening at Republic.
How’s it going?
Really well thanks – myself and co-founder Elvira are both Greek and we thrive when we share and connect, so we love having a base to showcase our gelato creations and also the chance to meet new people every day. We’re also currently working on some new flavours for Christmas, so watch this space.
What are you most proud of at Gelato a Casa?
We are immensely proud of our product as we work really hard to source the purest ingredients from every corner of Greece. We feel that we have infused all those places in our flavours, many of which you won’t find anywhere else in the world. I am also very proud of our in-store team – everyone is so enthusiastic and fantastic to work with.
What made you choose Republic for Gelato a Casa?
We had a vision of customers enjoying our gelato flavours in beautiful surroundings, and we fell in love with Republic from day one. The grounds are stunning and we feel very lucky to be part of such an amazing community.
As the expert, what flavour would you recommend we try?
It’s got to be Nutella Brioche & Greek Yoghurt with Sour Cherry!
