Join the Create & Connect Stitch and Repair Workshop Series at Republic London and learn simple, practical sewing skills in a relaxed and welcoming environment. This drop-in workshop focuses on sustainability, creativity, and everyday repair techniques that help extend the life of your clothing.
Delivered in collaboration with WinterKind and Oitij-jo, the session introduces easy hand sewing methods that anyone can learn. You do not need previous experience to take part. The workshop guides you step by step through basic stitching techniques that you can use to repair small tears, fix seams, or reinforce clothing.
The Create & Connect Stitch and Repair Workshop Series encourages a more sustainable approach to fashion. Instead of discarding damaged clothing, you can learn how to repair and reuse items you already own. This helps reduce waste and supports more mindful consumption habits.
You are welcome to bring your own clothes that need simple repairs. If you do not have anything to fix, materials will be provided so you can practise techniques during the session. The workshop creates space for hands-on learning, experimentation, and conversation.
This series also focuses on connection and shared learning. You can meet others across the Republic community while developing a practical life skill. The relaxed drop-in format allows you to join at any point and participate at your own pace.
By attending this event, you grant permission for photographs and videos to be taken and used for promotional purposes.
