Create & Connect – Air-Dry Clay Workshop

Join artist Beate Grauduma for a beginner-friendly clay workshop. Learn simple hand-building techniques and create your own small sculpture to take home on the same day.

You’ll explore different ways to shape clay, including pinching, coiling and slab construction. You’ll also learn how structure, balance and proportion help bring a sculpture together.

Create an abstract form, a nature-inspired shape or a simple figure. Choose whatever inspires you and enjoy experimenting with the material.

No previous art experience is needed. The workshop is fully accessible, with flexible pacing and one-to-one support throughout. All materials are provided, so just turn up and get creative!

About the artist

Beate Grauduma is a traditionally trained sculptor with experience in figurative modelling and contemporary art.

She has years of hands-on teaching experience and enjoys helping beginners and returning learners develop their skills. Her workshops explore the fundamentals of form, structure and clay techniques in a welcoming environment.
