As part of International Women’s Day, Republic presents a research-led photo exhibition celebrating the lived experiences of second-generation and immigrant women.
Through portraiture and storytelling, the exhibition explores how women contribute to their families, communities, and wider society and how these contributions create shared social, cultural, and economic impact across generations. The work reflects on care, labour, migration, identity, and the often-unseen forms of leadership embedded in everyday life.
Alongside the exhibition, join us for a live panel discussion (12:45–1:30 PM), bringing voices together to reflect on intergenerational experience, visibility, and the reciprocal relationship between women’s contributions and community wellbeing.
This event invites you to listen, reflect, and connect — situating individual stories within the broader global movement advancing gender equality.
