What are the real benefits of practising gratitude? How can we practise it successfully during times of adversity?
Come and learn about the science and practice of gratitude in this workshop run by Project Happy Note. There really hasn’t been a better time to do so.
What is Gratitude?
Gratitude is a choice and requires practice. Our brains are wired to seek out dangers and negative news more readily than positive things (to protect us from physical danger) so we need to train our brains to see the good.
Our worries stop us from thinking clearly and practising gratitude can help us change this. Like with physical exercise, the more you practice gratitude, the more prevalent and easier it becomes.
Did you know gratitude reduces stress and depression? That it can boost productivity, increase optimism and strengthen social connection? Gratitude can ultimately lead us to be healthier, happier people.
How can we practice gratitude?
Join this workshop with Project Happy Note founder Anthea, who will explain all!
But how can we feel the benefits of gratitude in times of adversity?
In the face of adversity, we do not attempt to inspect a negative situation for positivity. Instead, we look outside of the situation. This can help us build our resilience.
