Think you aren't creative or 'can’t do art'? Don’t know what to draw or paint? Fancy learning some new techniques, or just sharing ideas and socialising? This workshop will allow you to make art from anything you have at home!
Take a break from work with this fun session!
Join designer, creative director and illustrator Lydia Thornley for some creative playtime, just using the stuff that’s around you, on your desk or in your home.
We’ll be making some portraits and nature studies that – well, you probably never thought you’d produce!
What to bring
Well, what’s around you? Find some random stuff that’s easily to hand…
For instance, on your desk, you might have:
A biro
Highlighters
Post-its
Cardboard
Envelopes
In the kitchen:
Foil
A cupcake case
Food! Or a tea bag!
From domestic chores:
Pegs
A rubber glove
A dishcloth
From outdoors:
A twig or feather (and ink or paint to dip it in, well away from your screen)
Leaves,
petals,
seeds
And bring yourself, obviously…
