G&T Creatives present The Mixer: Celebrating Black History Month

The Mixer is an open mic night concept brought to you by dynamic duo, G&T Creatives.

A regular fixture in the East London creative arts scene, The Mixer is a showcase of open mic music, poetry, and performances, featuring a fresh line-up of talented guest artists invited to perform a spectacular set on the night.

This October, Republic Campus are hosting a special Mixer event, celebrating and showcasing Black Excellence in the performing and creative arts in the East London community. Interested in showing your talent as a Black musician, producer, poet, or DJ? Between featured guest artist slots, the stage is open! Just come on the night with your material and speak to the team.

Food and drink available on the night – expect delicious Afro Caribbean cuisine and cocktails.

Event location

The event will take place in the ‘Black Rock’ space on the ground floor of Republic’s Import Building.

Just follow signs to the event space on the day, or ask our Reception team to point you in the right direction.

Getting here

Republic is just a 2-minute walk from the East India and Blackwall DLR stations. Alternatively, we have bike racks and a car park on site too.
