We sat down with some of the Trampery's Members and Evo Pioneers to discuss the innovative work they do, how you can support them and why they love being part of The Trampery community.
My name is Kae Katz and I am the Founder of Fibre Lab.
What is Fibre Lab:
Fibre Lab is a textile recycling start up.
What does Fibre Lab do:
We collect off cuts from the manufacturing process, designers and brands. We shred them in to raw material using a small scale textile recycling machine.
What happens to this material:
We send the materials back to designers to use in their new collection. We are also in the process of developing our own range of products using the sustainable fibre.
What are you hoping to achieve in the future with Fibre Lab:
We provide sustainable fashion consulting to help brands source more sustainable fabrics and minimise their waste throughout the entire supply chain.
How can the people in the fashion industry work with Fibre Lab:
If you’re a brand or a designer, you can work with Fibre Lab by donating your off cuts or booking in some consultations to help make your next collection more environmentally conscious.
How can the public work or support Fibre Lab:
If you want to support us, you can help by purchasing one of Fibre Lab’s products (launching soon), or you can attend one of their events and workshops.
What do you like most about being a member of The Trampery?
The community of like-minded entrepreneurs is really the best part of The Trampery. It’s like one big family where you can bounce ideas off of each other and support each others success. I also love that there are so many events and opportunities to get to connect with other members in really fun settings.
