How the Internet is Revolutionising Politics. Kajal Odedra, Change.org
We will be joined on Thursday 19th July by Kajal Odedra. Kajal is UK Director at Change.org, the world’s largest online petition website with 200 million users worldwide and over 15 million in the UK. The platform has supported some of the biggest people-powered campaigns in the UK – from Laura Coryton’s campaign to end the tampon tax to Richard Ratcliffe’s fight to free his wife Nazanin from prison in Iran. Kajal has worked in the campaigns and tech sector for over 10 years, is an advisor for the women in STEM group Ada’s List and founded the People of Colour initiative. In her spare time, she loves to write and is currently working on a novel. A self-confessed bookworm, she’s attempting to read one book a week this year.
Join us for a lunchtime talk and Q and A with Kajal on Thursday 19th July 12.30pm – 1.30pm. Book via this link.
A healthy and delicious lunch will be provided. Free for Republic Tenants (check your newsletters for the free ticket code).
