&? studio is introducing Future Literacies Series with the aim of bringing cutting edge research in the domain of science and technology to the general public.
Neuroscience Literacy aims to introduce practical literacy and understanding of how your brain works and what factors influence its performance on daily basis. During this workshop you will get a chance to reflect on some of your habits and understand the underlying mechanisms behind them.
We will look into how our environments affect the way we think and feel, what unconscious behaviours are hardwired in us as a result of evolutionary processes and get a deeper look into different stages of sleep and their respective roles for memory retention and overall health.
The workshop will be facilitated by &? Studio founder Dzera Kaytati and neuroscientist Martin Dinov.
Dzera is a designer and entrepreneur working at the intersection of human-centered design, neuroscience, AI and education. &? is a future literacies studio with a mission to educate and engage more people in understanding the scientific and technological forces that are driving our everyday lives and the evolution of humanity at large.
Martin is a scientist and entrepreneur with a PhD in neuroscience and AI. His research is focused on human performance augmentation and BCI (Brain Computer Interfaces). He is a founding member of the HackThe Senses Collective and co-founder of Maaind – startup working on building new generation of human-centric AI technologies for augmenting human intelligence.
