Hi everyone, we are Elvira and Theo, founders of Gelato a Casa! We are very excited to join the Republic Community and thank you all for the warm welcome!
What are you most excited about opening Gelato a Casa?
We are excited to finally be able to share our flavours with the world, opening Gelato a Casa has been a long journey for us and the pandemic made it even longer. As Greeks, we thrive when we share and connect, so we are excited to finally have a base to showcase our creations.
What will Gelato a Casa serve?
We will be serving a selection of our 120 handmade premium gelato flavours – Bubble Waffle, Greek brioche, Greek sesame bagel and a variety of baclava! You can enjoy our desserts with our bespoke coffee blend, carefully selected for ice cream pairing. We are also planning to have a deli corner with traditional Greek preserves/jams, honey and spreads!

What is unique about Gelato a Casa?
The quality of ingredients we use to produce our gelato as well as our flavours.
Our chef travels to remote parts of Greece to uncover the best ingredients for our recipes, we feel that one can taste this in our gelato.
What are you looking forward to most about being part of the Republic Community and in the area?
This past year has been hard for everyone, we all felt isolated and disconnected. We can’t wait to be part of the community and help everyone reconnect over some delicious gelato and coffee! The warm welcome that we have received from the community this past few weeks has been amazing and we are very grateful!
